Centered Lace

{Blouse: H.I.P., Jeans: Levi’s, Heels: Stuart Weitzman, Purse: Michael Kors, Sunnies: Tory Burch, Necklaces: Purchased in Alaska.}
Around my college graduation, almost a decade and a half ago {how was 2010 that long ago?}, I discovered this simple blouse and fell in love instantly with the delicate lace down the front and back of the top. The hint of skin from the lace made it feel so subtly sexy, meaning I wore it constantly at twenty-one, but, by my twenty-second birthday, the blouse had been relegated to the back of my closet. I started reincorporating it into my wardrobe several summers ago, wearing it with denim or a simple skirt, for weekends spent berry picking, wine tasting, or just lounging at home. I threw it on recently, with a perky ponytail, sunnies, and two layered necklaces from our trip to Juneau in 2015, for an impromptu ice cream run on the warmest of afternoons.
