The weather has been strange lately – drizzly and cloudy, then bright and sunny. However, since California has such confusing and unpredictable weather even amidst our storms, I decided to mix my winter wardrobe with a bright pop of spring. Pairing my leather pencil skirt with a silk camisole, I threw on a coral blazer to brighten up the entire look. It made the grey weather and rain drop filled streets feel just a little more like spring truly is in less than two weeks.

Leather, Lace, & Denim

It’s no secret that New Years is one of my favorite holidays. There’s something so nice about a fresh, new, clean slate that a new year provides. And while some people don’t like it, I personally love the idea of a new years resolutions to help improve ourselves and my philosophy has always been new year, new me. So, a couple of weeks ago after we had a healthy brunch {new year’s resolutions and all} and decided to head out for the day, I knew I needed something comfortable, yet feminine, to help start 2023 in the most stylish way possible. Enter: leather, lace, and denim – the perfect combination of luxe, femininity, and comfort. I paired a simple white lace blouse with dark blue denim, topped off with a nude leather jacket and matching peep toe pumps. Paired with oversized sunnies, a large handbag, and a red lip, it added just the right amount of drama to the simplest of looks. I plan to wear a version of this outfit all year long, swapping the colors of my  lace tops and leather jackets depending on the season.
