Somehow 2022 flew by and we are nearly two weeks into the new year. It feels strange to me ever since we hit the 2020s to realize that the new millennium is not so new anymore. That being said, it felt so luxurious to spend the last couple of weeks of 2022 and the start of this century {and millennium’s} 23rd birthday with absolutely no plans, no alarm clocks, and just celebrating with friends and family. And while we’ve gotten into the swing of day-to-day life again, I’m excited to switch things up and head to the American Riviera {Ventura/ Santa Barbara/ Montecito} tomorrow, and to America’s Finest City {San Diego} this weekend.

We’re nearly two weeks into 2023 already, so I recently decided to spend an afternoon recently creating a vision board to help inspire and uplift this new year. Using a few old magazines, I cut out words and images {though as a writer, I naturally gravitated towards more words than pictures} that called out to me. I decided to stick with my design style of a minimalist, and symmetrical, look for my vision board, using photographs that inspired my love for travel, fashion, and prettiness, alongside words such as “wellness,” “love,” and “health.” I ended up cutting out more images than I used, but I loved getting to piece everything together, keeping the most key parts of the vision board front and center, while arranging the rest of it all around.
