I’ve never been a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. I prefer wearing dresses, silk blouses + jeans or a pencil skirt, or dressing in athleisure {aka, living in yoga pants and leggings}. But a few years ago I found a basic white v-neck that I knew I needed to buy. I planned for it to be a shirt I slept or worked out in, but instead it turned out to be my go-to for days when I wanted to wear something simple and classic. Since I’ve been living in yoga pants and slouchy tees for the last two and a half years, I recently decided to dress up my casual attire. I paired a classic white tee with dark jeans, a large leather bag, oversized sunglasses, and the brightest pink heels recently for a mimosa-filled brunch + shopping trip downtown. I loved how effortless the entire look is, but that it still has a punch of color thanks to the fun shoes.
