Entertaining: Academy Awards Party – Red Carpet + Gold Glitter Cupcakes, Hollywood Star Cookies, Brown Butter Parmesan Popcorn & Champagne

I’ve never been a huge awards show fan. Sure, I’ll catch a few minutes on screen while I’m on the elliptical or I’ll review the fashion hits and misses in a magazine, post-show. But this year, I’ve decided that I’m going to watch all the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards {on Sunday!} with an Oscars party. To keep with the Hollywood theme, I’m planning on serving champagne and sparkling cider, for a non-alcoholic option, in champagne flutes, red velvet cupcakes that I’m renaming red carpet cupcakes and topping with gold sugar, frosted sugar cookies I’m cutting into stars and writing our names on as our “Hollywood Walk of Fame Star,” and a brown butter parmesan popcorn. I’m so excited to spend Sunday indulging in decadent treats, while watching the glitterati of Hollywood and deciding what my favorite looks of the night are. I’d love to know, how do you celebrate the glittery awards show season?
