Many years ago I purchased this pumpkin enzyme mask and instantly fell in love with my favorite fall ritual: using it along with my weekly bath. It’s such a relaxing ritual that helps me unwind after a particularly long day, difficult workout, or simply before getting dressed up for a holiday party. With the holidays coming up {I still need to pinch myself to realize that Halloween is at the end of this month}, I decided to blend up my own pumpkin pie mask and peel that is food-grade because our skin is our largest organ and absorbs whatever we put on it including chemicals and toxins. With a touch of sugar for exfoliation, the coconut oil helps moisturize my face while the pumpkin puree helps brighten and detox my skin. I’m obsessed with the fact that this mask smells like a pumpkin pie and tastes like one too, and plan to make it anytime I’m craving pumpkin pie minus all the calories.
Ingredients:
2 Ounces Pumpkin Puree
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
1 Pinch Granulated Sugar
How to Make it:
1. Fill your container with the pumpkin puree to determine how much you need.
2. Mix in one tablespoon coconut oil with a pinch of granulated sugar and stir.
3. Use on your face for ten to fifteen minutes once or twice a week and enjoy!
